1. a) You are attending a major university. One of your classes is "American History." You will be one of over 200 students. You enter the rear of the lecture hall and note three sections of seating (left, center, right) each with 20 rows. Where do you sit?
b) Your instructor enters and states that the anti-American fighters in Iraq will be likened to the American patriots of the late 18th century. How do respond?
2. a) Where does Science Fit into your world view?

3. Evaluate the following quote, and take a position on whether it is profound or simple: “The rich really are different……they have more money.”
4. Do you see humanity progressing or regressing, and do you consider it a good or bad thing?
